The LaSalle Causeway Bascule Bridge is an historic Strauss Trunion Swing Bridge at the southern end of the Rideau Canal in the City of Kingston.

MRC engineering staff has for many years been associated with the bridge and have completed such projects as:

· Fatigue evaluation and repair design;
· Response Spectrum Seismic Analysis;
· Structural inspection, underwater dive inspections, condition ratings, load evaluations to CHBDC and Life Cycle Cost Evaluation of the Structure for PWGSC; and
· Ultrasonic testing of link pins and damper replacements completed by sub consultants coordinated by MRC.
